The Shchekits are a race of four-armed beings living in the southern sectors of the galaxy. They are known as fairly aggressive: Shchekits guard their territory jealously and are considered decent fighters.
The philosophy of the race lies in the soil. Owning land matters more to a Shchekit than anything else in the world, and a bride's dowry must include a plot of land.
Land is always in short supply on their home planet, and the Shchekits constantly set off to earn money beyond it. By marriage custom the gifts are given by the bride's family, so it is more often the females who leave home.
Abroad they frequently end up in gangs or cults that promise them enough money to buy a large plot of land.
The Surditary often use the Shchekits for their own ends, and Shchekits can be seen in the ranks of Surditary gangs and hosts.
A Shchekit is a slender humanoid with grey skin, long fair hair and two pairs of arms.
In the order of the illustrations: a Shchekit bartender, a Shchekit from the shared sheet of the lesser races of the south, and that sheet in full — a Shchekit on the left, a Bulver in the centre, a Snizer on the right.
Below, with captions, are a Shchekit girl in the dress of cult-army fighters and a Shchekit bartender from the "Society of the Surditary Dynasty" sheet.
