The Dirobrans are a race whose backs are covered in sharp feathers. Near the beak they have two proboscises with which they eat; their hands serve for all kinds of work.
Dirobrans often live alone, controlling their own territories, and come together with others of their kind only to mate. This way of life requires large territories and encourages expansion.
Centuries of internal wars have made the Dirobrans good fighters whose services are popular with the most varied employers. In sector P-6 the Dirobrans have a bad reputation and often serve as mercenaries in the armies of various countries.
Dirobrans usually despised uniforms and wore as little of them as possible. The back covered in sharp spines was their pride, and they always put it on display.
In the alleys of desert towns one often meets Dirobrans selling water. They usually buy the water from a water bank and then sell it at a mark-up to the thirsty in the heat.
A Dirobran is a green-skinned humanoid with a dark beaked head and a back covered in long sharp feathers.
